creates a sonic identity that defies convention. Her focus lies in techno, house, tech house,
and acid house – but boundaries don’t apply here.

future.
Growing up in Berlin and Munich with both German and Nigerian roots, Emily Coco Hope
was exposed to a wide range of subcultures, which has influenced her ability to blend
different genres of electronic and non-electronic music. Primarily a club kid, she focuses on
techno, house, tech house, and acid house. However, she also plays ambient melodic
sounds and selects tracks that have a personal meaning to her. She plays both digital and
vinyl, adding depth and versatility to her sets. It is this unique blend that makes her
performances in art galleries, bars, and clubs so captivating: danceable beats, rhythm,
echoes, glitches, and an abundance of energy that flows throughout the entire set.
She has launched her own series of events, Bootlick, and is actively working on expanding
her network of like-minded collaborators
